***THERE IS NOW A JUNIOR HIGH DIVISION OF THE STATE AND NATIONAL PAGEANT!!***
Junior high is considered 6th, 7th, and 8th grade-- similar to "pre-teen" in other systems.
This is a scholarship based pageant with emphasis on grades and community service.
There are three divisions judged on at the state and national level of this pageant:
*Interview
*Fun Fashion
*Evening Gown (with on-stage question)
The state High School and Collegiate winners will receive the official crown and sash for the Miss Illinois High School America Scholarship Pageant, a college scholarship of $1,000, A wardrobe sponsorship from Bridal Elegance, training sessions from Image Consultant Stephanie Piller, modeling opportunities for print media and commercials with Bridal Elegance, and the entry fee paid for the national pageant, among many more to be announced!
At the national level, a $10,000 CASH scholarship and a prize package worth over $20,000 is received by the winner.

We will be holding a mandatory orientation this fall, which will include the selection of opening number dresses! Get your entry forms and fees in early and don't miss out!
